KARIMUNJAWA ISLAND





 


This area is located in the Java Sea + / - 83 km from the city of Jepara heading north. This object is an island designated as marine national park Karimunjawa. a land area of ​​7120 hectares with the island's 27 pieces, but are inhabited only 5 pieces. namely Karimunjawa, Kemujan, Parang, Mosquito and Genting. with a stretch of scenery on the sidelines of the island, white sand stretching along the beach with palm trees. There are 242 species of ornamental fish, and 133 genera of aquatic fauna. Boat, karimun Java can be reached in about 5 hours from dock Jepara. In the marine national park has also been constructed "Kura-Kura Resort" which is a resting area with facilities lux, which is owned by foreign investors.Broadly fauna in Karimunjawa consists of 2 (two) groups, namely:

    
Mainland: Deer, Pangolin, Porcupine, Snake, Stork Tong tong, Grey Herons, eagles and sea-Wedi wedi. Sea eagle is an endangered species that can be found in these islands.
    
Waters: coral reefs, sponges, soft corals, roots bahar, red shells, turtles and ornamental fish.The beaches of white sand Karimunjawa majority, therefore suitable for sunbathing, diving and fishing.
